ELENA GRAY

Artist, Designer, Educator

I am an artist based in Ferndale, MI with a wide variety of artistic skills, including printmaking, painting, graphic design, and craft skills such as stained glass and sewing. I received my Bachelor's degree in printmaking from Kendall College of Art and Design in the spring of 2020. Since then, I have worked at Cranbrook Art Museum as a museum educator, primarily teaching art to children and planning grant funded projects.

I am a freelance graphic designer and have worked on a wide variety of projects including logos, packaging design, and event posters. I also design and print work for my brand, Golden Hour Press. I sell hand printed items, stained glass, as well as a variety of other items on my Etsy, Golden Hour Press (link).

I am very passionate about creating print work, which you will find on the "Art" page of this website. My work since graduation has been focused on themes of memory and nostalgia, human connection, and emotional symbolism. I am currently a graduate student in the Print Media program at Cranbrook Academy of Art.
